variety-logo-250Wilson asked why guest star Rosanna Arquette, an innocent woman who befriends Mickey, became collateral during the first season.

“I had to leave the night we shot her,” said Biderman. “I was so upset.”

“I debated and really thought about it. But that’s how bad these guys are. This is what these guys do.”

Sully (James Woods), who shoots and kills Arquette’s character, was inspired in part by Boston’s notorious mobster Whitey Bulger.

“They would not let her just walk out of there,” Biderman added.
